More than 180 Christian families across 32 villages in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh are reportedly facing increasing discrimination because of their faith.
According to recent reports, Christian families have been denied access to communal water sources, work opportunities, and forest resources that many villages depend upon for daily survival. Local Christian leaders say these restrictions are being used to pressure believers into abandoning Christianity.
For many families, the situation has created significant hardship. Access to water, employment, and food resources has become increasingly difficult, affecting entire households.
Despite these challenges, believers continue to gather, pray, and encourage one another. Many local Christians remain committed to their faith even as they face growing pressure from surrounding communities.
Prayer Points
• Pray for provision for families facing hardship.• Pray for protection over believers experiencing discrimination.• Pray for wisdom and courage for local church leaders.• Pray that communities would choose peace and reconciliation.
